Starting our third season, Ally McAdam continuing as manager. He now had assistance from a guy that worked at Moncrieff Glass in St. Catherine Road whose name escapes us.

Meetings were being arranged with the Junior and Juvenile Associations for signing players without approaching the clubs. Letham was in the fortunate position of having it's own City Boy and Minor teams. However as the City Boy association was affiliated to the Amateurs it was in order at that time for this poaching to occur. Donald Yeaman of our City Boy team played juvenile football with our main city rivals Royal United that endeared us to Wattie Morrison of Royals no end. We were therefore trying to change the allegiance to the Scottish Secondary Juveniles, which would give us protection from predators.
