The League gets under way on Saturday when PCBC meet Strathtay on Pitch No. 11 North Inch. At seven acres new entrant ACF play Jeanfield Swifts.

No sign of Letham as only Jeanfield, ACF, Strathtay and PCBC have featured so far.

There will be a public trial for boys under 16 years of age on the 1st September 1971 at Seven Acres tomorrow. All boys interested please report to 142, South Street at 2.00p.m. Bring own kit.

A friendly has been arranged between Letham Minors and Bridgeton Minors, a new entry into the league. The match will be played on Sunday, the time of kick off to be arranged between the respective secretaries.
