Letham Community Sports Club

Letham Amateurs (sponsored by Trev’s House of Tattoos, Saints Social Club, Barossa Street. DRC Contracts, Sidey )  The team exited the North of Tay Cup when they lost by three goals to two at home to NCR. There was nothing between the teams but NCR took their chances and the Tangerines didn’t. On Saturday they travel to Crieff to face Vale of Earn who have a 100% league record. Bob will advise travel arrangements.

Letham 1995 (sponsored by Perthshire Flooring) No game last week but now look forward to their home tie for the Tayside Trophy against Green Room.

Letham U19 Sky Blue (sponsored by Montana Restoration)  Not a good day against Ferry in Dundee last weekend. On Sunday home to Dundee West.

Letham U16 Tangerine 1999 (sponsored by John Gillespie, Hairdresser, St.John Street)   The team held the renowned Tyncastle for much of the first half. Their powerful play after the interval proved too much for the Tangerines and they look a good bet for the Scottish Cup. No game this weekend.

Letham U16 White 1999 (sponsored by Alex O’Brien, Contractor. Kilmac Group, Kelly Communications)  Crieff were too good last weekend against the Whites. On Sunday home game against Jeanfield. Timings may be subject to change. Ronnie will advise.

Letham U15 Tangerine 2000 (sponsored by Graham & Sibbald/ Drainco (Scotland) Ltd)    At Blairgowrie last weekend the home side came out on top. On Sunday home to Scone Thistle.

Letham Tangerine U14 2001 (sponsored by New Today, Furniture Centre, Canal Street)    At home to Broughty last week resulted in a great game which ended all square at two goals apiece. On Sunday away to Arbroath.

Letham Tangerine 2002 (sponsored by McDonald’s, RGW Play Area Maint. Ltd., D Peebles, Electrical Contractor) Against the older Breadalbane side the Tangies fought well and were not overawed. On Sunday home to Pitfour.

Letham Sky Blue 2002 (sponsored by MKM Building Merchants)  At home to Pitfour last week, the team had an easy victory. On Sunday they entertain Scone. Ricky will advise arrangements as maybe subject to change.

Letham Tangerine 2003 (sponsored by Vending Services Ltd) The team were disappointed last week at home to Jeanfield. On Sunday at home to Crieff.

Letham White 2003 (sponsored by China, China, St. Leonards Bridge)  The boys were below form at home to Blairgowrie last weekend. On Sunday away to Bridge of Earn. David will advise arrangements.

Letham Tangerine 2004 (sponsored by Carpet Discount Store, Friarton, Perth) Good game at home to Jeanfield last week. On Sunday home to Breadalbane.

Letham 2004 White (sponsored by Tower Veterinary Centre)  The team played well but Crieff have a very good team. On Sunday away to Pitfour.

Letham Sky Blue 2004 (sponsored by John Tainsh, Convenience Store) The team were in top form in the first period then fell away in the later stages badly at home to Scone. On Sunday away to Jeanfield.  

Letham 2005 Tangerine (sponsored by Manzil Restaurant)  Last week at Crieff the home team had the better day. This week at home to Breadalbane. Check with Keith re kick off timings.

Letham 2005 White  The team had honours even at Blairgowrie last week. The game scheduled for Sunday against Scone has been cancelled.

Letham Girls U15 (sponsored by MP & H McDonald, Plumbing & Heating)    Tomorrow the girls have a friendly against Tayside Ladies. Fiona will advise arrangements.

Letham Girls U13 (sponsored by Aviva)   The season is now finished. Check with Fiona regarding activities tomorrow.   

Letham Girls U11 Tangerine (sponsored by R.A.S.C. R.C.T. Association)  Letham Girls U11 White A small festival is planned for tomorrow at Seven Acres. Details will be advised.

Letham Tot’s Soccer School (sponsored by Struan Motors, Crieff Road)  The soccer school for boys and girls in primaries one, two and three continues at 9.00a.m. on the new all-weather pitch at Seven Acres. Cost is £2. Please wear boots and shin guards and bring a drink.  If arriving by car please use car park via Balgowan Road entrance.

Letham Coaches (sponsored by Scottish Co-op Community Fund)   Would like to hear from volunteers willing to give up some of their spare time and become a coach to one of our younger teams. Letham U15 Tangerine 2000 (sponsored by Graham & Sibbald/ Drainco (Scotland) Ltd)   The team will continue to play in the Perth and Kinross League this season and are seeking additional players born 2000 or 2001. Letham 2003 Tangerines will be holding trials for additional players born 2003 or 2004 tomorrow Saturday 22nd November at 11.00a.m. At Seven Acres Park, Newhouse Road, Perth. Contact Cathy 07808862916. This is due to the team switching to eleven a side for next season.
