Letham Community Sports Club

 

Letham Coaches (sponsored by Scottish Co-op Community Fund)   

Can you spare a couple of hours a week to help with coaching a football team; or could you see yourself running a team of your own? In return for an hour or two of your time each week Letham will invest in developing you to coach to the highest accredited standards. We’d be particularly interested in hearing from people who would be interested in helping existing teams.

Letham Amateurs (sponsored by Trev’s House of Tattoos, Saints Social Club, Alexis Rose, Howdens Joinery, DRC Contracts, Sidey) In a long awaited Ashleigh Cup fixture Letham came away from Kinrossie as winners following a 7-1 win. This week is a league fixture at home to Craigie, kicking off at 2pm. Players to meet at Seven Acres at 1pm

Letham 1995 (sponsored by Perthshire Flooring) The team went out of the North of Tay following a 6-3 defeat at the hands of Cutty Sark on Sunday. This week see’s the 95’s face Taybank at Seven Acres. Dougie will advise kick off time.

Letham U19 Sky Blue (sponsored by Montana Restoration) With no game last week the boys made the most of the break. This week they will travel to face Forfar West End in the league. Kick off at 2pm – Dave will advise meeting time and travel arrangements

Letham U16 Tangerine 1999 (sponsored by John Gillespie, Hairdresser, St.John Street) With last week’s game away to Jeanfield Swifts not going ahead the boys will be looking forward to a game this week. With them set to face Scone at 2pm on the 3G pitch at Seven Acres they won’t be disappointed.

Letham U15 Tangerine 2000 (sponsored by Graham & Sibbald/ Drainco (Scotland) Ltd)            Last week see’s the Tangies faced Blairgowrie and came away with a superb 3-2 win. This week they will be looking to deliver another good win when Crieff come to Seven Acres for a 10.30am kick off on Sunday.

Letham Tangerine U14 2001 (sponsored by New Today, Furniture Centre, Canal Street) In an action packed fixture week at home game against Ferry the boys secured a 5-2 win with some exceptional football and team spirit on display throughout. The boys will be looking to carry this form through to Arbroath this week for their league game which kicks off at 12.30pm.

Letham Tangerine 2002 (sponsored by McDonald’s, RGW Play Area Maint. Ltd., D Peebles, Electrical Contractor) Last week’s derby against Letham Sky Blue’s saw the Tangies lose out 2-0. This week away to Breadalbane for a friendly. Wilson will advise kick off and travel arrangements

Letham Sky Blue 2002 (sponsored by MKM Building Merchants) Last week’s Letham derby Vs Letham Tangerines saw the Sky Blues secure bragging rights after a 2-0 win. This week they will travel to Scone in the league for a 10.30 kick off and be looking to secure another win.

Letham White 2003 (sponsored by China, China, St. Leonards Bridge) The team is at home to Crieff on Sunday. Kick off 9.30am on the 3G pitch. Coaching each Wednesday at 6.00p.m.

Letham Girls U17 s (sponsored by by Alex O’Brien, Contractor. Kilmac Group, Kelly Communications) There is not fixtures this weekend for the girls, the season kick's off next Sunday at home against Hib's. Training will be on Monday and Thursday nights 5.45-7. Enjoy your free weekend.

Letham Girls U15 (sponsored by MP & H McDonald, Plumbing & Heating) The girls played much better this weekend, more focused and concentrating on the passing game. Well done girls and keep up the hard work. Training Monday and Thursday nights 5.45-7. The season kicks off next Saturday away to East Fife, enjoy your free weekend

Letham Girls U13 (sponsored by Aviva) What a finish to the winter festival losing an extremely tight game with Real Fife but winning the last two games 3-1 and 4-0 with two hat-tricks in there. Fantastic girls. Training on Thursday night 5.45-7. Their season kick's off next Saturday away to East Fife, enjoy your weekend.

Letham Girls U13 Tangies Juniors had three defeats against one of the toughest draws they have had so far but despite this, the girls put a 100% effort and still played great football, well done girls. Training Monday night 5.45-7. Their season kick's off next Saturday at home against Glenrothes strollers, enjoy your weekend.

Letham Girls U11 White (sponsored by Nawaabs Restaurant) These girls played extremely well this weekend, there was some great passing and another goal as well. Fantastic girls keep up the hard work. Training on Monday night 5.45-7. The season kicks off next Saturday at home against Inverkeithing, have a good weekend

Letham Tot’s Soccer School (sponsored by Struan Motors, Crieff Road) The soccer school for boys and girls in primaries one, two and three continues at 9.00a.m. on the all-weather 3G pitch at Seven Acres every Saturday. Cost is £2. Please wear boots and shin guards and bring a drink.  If arriving by car please use car park via Balgowan Road entrance. No need to pre-book.

Pay to Play Letham in conjunction with Active Schools offer school kids in primaries four to seven an opportunity every Tuesday from 3.30 till 5.00 p.m. to play football on their new state of the art all-weather pitch at Seven Acres Park, Newhouse Road, Letham for a £1. with qualified football coaches. Best to wear boots and wear warm clothing. No need to pre-book.

Walking Football Letham in conjunction with Live Active invite women and men to play walking football has recommenced on Friday’s between 11.15 am and 12.15 p.m. at the Letham Centre, Tweedsmuir Road, Letham. More information from Bill Ellis on 07957864289
