Letham Amateurs The Tangerines were in sparkling form last week at Crieff. Tomorrow they again return to Crieff for a special pre-season session. Meet clubhouse at 12.15 p.m. Further training sessions at Seven Acres next week on Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6.30 p.m. prompt

Letham Lads (sponsored by Moncrieffe, Princes Street) Pre-season training is going well under the guidance of Alan Ferguson. Next training on Monday and Wednesday evenings at Seven Acres from 6.30 p.m. Cliff thanks all the trialists who attended this week’s sessions.

Letham U19’s (sponsored by Corinna Hotel) Training session on Sunday at Seven Acres starting at 1.00p.m. A further session is planned for Wednesday from 7.00p.m. The club also wishes Dean Boyd a speedy recovery from his injury.

Letham U17’s (sponsored by TI Protective Coatings, Horwich, Bolton) Training for the new season continues on Wednesday nights at Seven Acres from 6.30 p.m. Players born 1994 wishing to play for the team are welcome to attend. Ask for George Mitchell or contact him on 441508

Letham U14’s tangerine (sponsored by Scott McRae, Joiners & Contractors) The team enjoyed the experience last week when they were invited to visit Scotland’s biggest and most successful community youth club Hutchison Vale in Edinburgh. Letham has a close relationship with Hutchie and thanks to their advice and guidance has enabled the Tangerines to become the biggest community club in the East region



Letham U14’s white (sponsored by David Miller, Electrical Contractor) Next training session is on Sunday at Seven Acres. Stewart will advise timings. This is followed on Tuesday and Thursday evenings commencing at 5.45 p.m.

Letham Footstar Tots Soccer School (sponsored by Sidey Kitchens, Feus Road) The Wednesday afternoon sessions for boys and girls in primaries one and two are now discontinued for the summer. Alternative coaching for this group takes place on Saturday mornings from 10.00a.m.Contact Steve on 07743093259 for further information.

Letham Footstar Soccer School Boys and girls in primaries 1 to 7 are invited to attend sessions which take place at the club’s home ground at Seven Acres, Newhouse Road, Letham at ten a.m. and will run for two hours on Saturday’s. Request to wear the club shirt at these sessions. Please note change of timings. Please wear suitable footwear, clothing, shin pads and bring a drink. Summer Holiday Coaching The club is running Letham Footstar Summer Coaching sessions at Seven Acres on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoons for 5 weeks between 2 and 4.00p.m. Players in primaries 1 to 7 are welcome to attend. Letham Footstars A new coaching session for players in primary 3 born 2002 or 2003 will now take place at Seven Acres on Thursday afternoons from 5 to 6.00p.m. Please wear suitable clothes and footwear for outdoors and bring a drink.

Special coaching for girls
A new special weekly coaching session for girls born 2000 to 2003 will take place on Monday’s at Seven Acres Park, Newhouse Road from 6 to 7.00 p.m. Further details from Ian Elrick on 07973431072

Abseil at Dunkeld Reminder that the club still requires more volunteers to take in an abseil at Dunkeld on Saturday 7th, August. Sponsor sheets available at Seven Acres. Proceeds will go towards replacing coaching equipment. Contact Steve MacDuff.

50 year celebration The club was founded by 4 teenagers in November 1960 as Letham Juveniles. To celebrate the occasion there will be a number of events. It is hoped that many former players at the different age groups will take a note to attend the Sportsman Dinner on Friday 19th, November in the Salutation Hotel. Speakers will be Brian McGinlay, John Gahagan and Craig Brown. Tickets can be booked on line shortly by visiting www.lethamfc.com and are priced at £30


A.G.M. The club’s annual general meeting is being held in the Corinna Hotel on Monday 26th July from 7.00p.m. A buffet will be provided by sponsor China China, St Leonards Bridge. A full attendance is requested
