A full-scale session is planned for Sunday (boys & girls born 1992) at Seven Acres, with Elaine in charge. Please meet at 10.30a.m.It is also likely that a game will be played using our new tangerine shirts. Will all note that a coaching session will also take place next Thursday at Letham? Please meet at 6.30 p.m. membership rules apply for only one of these sessions.

Will all boys and girls (born1992) please note that there will be a coaching session at Seven Acres on Sunday at 10.30a.m? Reminder also that the mid week session will be on Tuesday this coming week at 6.30 p.m.

Friday 11 October 2002
Last weekend the team played very well against our under 11 team. The boys all enjoyed the experience and no doubt look forward to the return fixture. This week Gannochy are at Seven Acres Players report to clubrooms at 10.30a.m.The club has presented Johnny Tainsh the team sponsor with a tangerine jersey for display purposes. He said he had many happy seasons with Letham and was delighted to receive this memento.

The fixture at Letham on Sunday resulted in a great game with Gannochy. Both sides tried to play attractive football but despite a late rally The Tangerines just failed to haul back on the lead gained by their opponents. On Sunday the team travel to play Kintillo. Friday 25 October 2002
Last week the team played very well in their away fixture against the older boys of Kintillo. They also learned that they have to keep going for the full 50 minutes. This week they entertain the Auchterarder under 11 team at Letham. Players to report at 9.45a.m. This week also saw the start of indoor training each Monday at 6.00 p.m.

This week the team travel to Crieff to play Strathearn under 10’s.Please report to Seven Acres at 9.40a.m. Prompt. The club would appreciate assistance from parents and friends with regard to transportation to play this match.

Last week at Crieff the team played very well and were too good for Strathearn under 10’s on the day. This week is the meeting with Letham whites under 10’s.Players are asked to report to Seven Acres at 10.15a.m

Friday 15 November 2002
Last Sunday was the long awaited derby match with the under 10 white team. Without doubt the club’s two youngest teams played out the best game seen at Seven Acres this season. There were no losers in this match, which was full of skill and passing movements and was a credit to all who took part. This Sunday the team travel down the motorway to play Kinross (2) Final details are not to hand so will all players contact Laurie Spence on 01738 635110. The club would appreciate assistance from parents and friends with regard to transport to this game.

The team thought they had secured a win against Kinross Colts when they scored with a minute to go. The home team however had other ideas and equalised with virtually the last kick of the game. This week they have a stern test against their own under 11 white team. This will be a very interesting match and all friends and parents will be very welcome to cheer on their respective favourites.

What a great display against the under 11 white team. Laurie and Elaine were very proud in the manner that all the team played and this must auger well in the coming months. This Sunday they are off to Bridge of Earn. Will all players report to the clubrooms at 10.30a.m? The club would appreciate help from parents and friends with regard to transport to this venue.

Although just beaten last week by the older and more experienced team, the club were delighted by the performance .All credit goes to the players who showed great spirit and produced a brand of football that is synonymous with the Letham tradition. This week the team entertain Auchterarder U10’s and will be hoping to carry forward last week’s form. Will all players report to the clubhouse on Sunday at 9.45a.m?

The game last week was called off due to Auchterarder not being able to fulfil the fixture. There is no game this Sunday but boys are reminded that training will take place at 6.00p.m. on Monday evening at the Letham Centre.

The team completed the years campaign with a lively coaching session last Monday. Will all players note that they are due to report to the Letham Centre on Sunday, 12th,January at 12.45 for 1.00pm commencement of the special Letham 5-a-side tournament

This Sunday is the clubs indoor tournament and all players are asked to meet at the Letham Centre at 12.45p.m. Training/coaching sessions resume next week on Monday evenings at 6.00p.m.

After a long winter break the team have a friendly this Sunday against Gannochy at Seven Acres. Players report to clubhouse, Newhouse Road at 10.30a.m.

Friday 14 March 2003
Players please note that there is not a coaching session to- night in the Letham Centre due to non-availability. Instead the club have organised an outdoor session on Sunday at Seven Acres. Players to report at 10.00a.m. and bring suitable clothing and boots.

Friday 21 March 2003
The team welcome the return of the official fixtures and on Sunday is paired against the Letham white team. Up to now the tangerines have had the better of the exchanges but they should be wary as their opponents are on a high following last week’s great performance. Players meet clubrooms at 10.

The team very nearly came a cropper against their club mates the whites last week but squeezed through by the odd goal. On Sunday Kinross Colts visit Seven Acres and players should meet at 10.45a.m.

Friday 04 April 2003
With a full squad the Tangerines were in an attacking mood right from the start against Kinross Colts. This meant that their defensive play was found to be a bit lacking. The Colts kept plugging away and kept the game open by scoring 5 goals. Letham however all ways had that little bit extra and won convincingly in the end. This Sunday the team was scheduled to play Kinross Colts United. Regrettably the Kinross club due to circumstances are unable to play this weekend. Lawrie is trying to arrange an alternative fixture and he will advise all players if arrangements can be made in time. Reminder that coaching is now outdoors on Thursday evening at 6.00p.m.

Friday 11 April 2003
Due to the game against Kinross Colts being postponed, the team played the club’s under 11 white team. It looked at the end of the first half that they would suffer a heavy defeat. All credit however to their fighting spirit and skill when they fought back and very nearly got back to level terms. This week the game against Strathearn has also been postponed to a later date. Alas there is no time to re-arrange an alternative match so the next event will be the coaching session next week as arranged with Elaine.

After last week’s disappointment of not having a fixture it is hoped that this Sunday all is well when they are due to travel to play Kinross Colts United. Final arrangements are still not to hand so Lawrie /Elaine will advise.

The boys were disappointed that last week’s game was postponed. This week they play their club mates in the white team. Due to the big match in Glasgow this game will now be played midweek on a date to be decided

Last weeks game against the whites will be rescheduled as a mid week fixture as yet to be arranged. This week they are off on their travels when they travel down the motorway to Kinross to play the local Colts. Players are requested to meet Newhouse Road at 9.30a.m. The club appeals for help from supporters and friends with regards transport.

Kinross Colts United visited Seven Acres last Sunday and found the Tangerines a hot handful. This week they are on their travel to play Strathearn at Crieff. Players should meet Seven Acres at 10.15 prompt. The club would appreciate assistance from parents and supporters with regard to transportation
U10’s tangerines (for next season) On Tuesday evening following a coaching session, the players were allocated to their team. Elaine is the coach for next season of the tangerine team. The team were on their travels last week to play Strathearn at Crieff. It was pleasing that their good play of late continued. Arrangements are being made to play off the outstanding game against the white team.

After a few weeks of inactivity the squad were back together on Wednesday evening with new coach Colin McGlashan taking the session. Colin who had senior experience with eleven clubs and notably Partick Thistle will be an invaluable asset to the team and club. The next coaching session will be on Wednesday evening at 6.00p.m. Players are reminded that all jerseys have to be returned to the club no later than Wednesday as they are required by next seasons new under 10 team A practice match is also planned for the near future.
U10’s tangerine (next season) Players are reminded that a full scale coaching session will take place tonight at Seven Acres, Newhouse Road at 6.30p.m. Also note a correction to Richard Barker’s phone number which is 01821 640687. Future arrangements will be intimated tonight.

Friday 13 June 2003
Coaching continues on Wednesday evening at 6.00p.m. with new coach Colin McGlashan. The team will next season be Letham U12’s tangerine team.
This young team surprised many when they held their stronger and older club mates for most of the practice session held on Wednesday evening. Team building continues next Monday evening when they have a challenge from the new U11 tangerine team.

Following the practice with the older lads, Richard, together with a considerable support were delighted with the team’s performance. Next coaching session will be a week to night at Seven Acres at 6.00p.m.
