After the summer breaks the team resume coaching on Wednesday 30th,July at Seven Acres. Gordon expects a full attendance, as there are some important information details that will be passed on to the players and parents.

Will all players note that their next coaching session will be on Monday evening at 6.00p.m. and not Wednesday. Beforehand the players will have the opportunity to test their shooting skills when they take part in the Hot Shot Soccer Shoot out. Sponsorship forms must be brought to the venue. In order for the team to be acquainted with eleven a side football a full-scale practice session has been arranged for Sunday. Players to meet Newhouse Road at 11.00a.m. This is followed on Monday evening with a game against the tangerine team. Players should report to Seven Acres for 6.00p.m.

Last Sunday the team practised eleven a side football with their friends from Crieff and discovered the transition was not easy. However, on Monday evening they took on the tangerine team and showed that they had learned fast. Goals by Willie Lynas (4), Jordan Turnbull (3), Darren Cheatham (3), Iain Watt (1) secured an 11-3 victory. Tomorrow Saturday Gordon is holding an additional coaching session. Players to meet at Seven Acres at 10.30. Please note that all players must bring with them their match strip. On Sunday the team have Bridge of Earn visiting with the first official game of the season viz; - League Cup match. Players to report to clubrooms at 11.30a.m.

Not a good start to the season last weekend when the team lost very heavily to Bridge of Earn. Well done to William Lynas and Darren Cheatam for notching the two consolation goals. This Sunday Athletico Blair visit Seven Acres and players are reminded to report to clubhouse at 11.30a.m.

The team did not fare well against Athletico Blair last Sunday and despite chances even failed to score. Arrangements for the away fixture against Gannochy on Sunday are not yet to hand. The club would appreciate assistance from parents with regard to transport for this game. All players are reminded that there is an additional coaching session tonight at Newhouse Road with a 6.00p.m. start.

The team played well in the first half on the South Inch last Sunday against Gannochy and turned round all square. They were unable to maintain the form and in the end had to accept defeat despite a fine hat-trick from Willie Lynas. This week they are away again this time to Bridge of Earn. Gordon will advise of arrangements. Assistance with transport would be appreciated.

The team were no match for the strong going Bridge of Earn team last weekend. This week they are off on their travels to play Dundee West B.C. in the second round of the Scottish Cup. The whites interest in the Scottish Cup was basically over by half time. Never the less it was a fun day outing and the boys enjoyed the experience against a very good Dundee West team. Thanks to all parents and supporters who supplied the transport. This week Gannochy visit Seven Acres and the home players should meet at 11.45p.m.

The team at times blow hot and cold and last Sunday was no exception. Trailing 4-1 at the interval, the whites -stormed back in the second half to overcome the deficit against Gannochy to secure a win by 7-5. Special mention to Willie Lynas who notched 4 goals, Kevin Bryant (2) and Ross Law on his debut where the scorers. This week they have a very difficult match when they also travel to play Athletico Blair in the league cup. Due to so many players being on holiday the team were unable to play their fixture at Blairgowrie last weekend. This week Kintillo come to Seven Acres. All players who have been contacted should report to clubhouse at 11.45a.m. Coaching as usual on Monday night.

The team played very well last week against Kintillo and many thought they were just a shade unlucky not to gain all the points. This week it is the big game against the Tangerine team. Last week the team met Gannochy in a league game and were bitterly disappointed to go down by the odd goal in three despite having the bulk of the play. Darren Cheetham scoring for the whites. The home supporters were hoping for a shock result when Willie Lynas opened the scoring for the whites against Bridge of Earn. It all fell apart however after the interval. There is no game this weekend.

Gordon was delighted with the team performance away to Luncarty last Sunday. Whilst the home team won the differential between the sides is getting closer. On Sunday it is hoped this improvement continues when they have a home fixture against high flying Athletico Blair. The whites were unlucky to go down by an 8-4 margin at Letham last Sunday against Athletico Blair. Despite opening the scoring and dominating much of the first half they turned round trailing by four goals to one. Their fighting spirit was not in question and whilst losing Shaun Campbell and Iain Watt due to injuries they kept plugging away. Willie Lynas brought the game to life with a fantastic Beckham style free kick. Other scorers being Kevin Bryant, Jordan Turnbull and Scott Soutar. This Sunday Luncarty are the visitors and players should meet at Newhouse Road at 11.30 a.m. Tonight will be the final indoor coaching session for the year in the Letham Sports Centre and will not resume until Friday 9th, January 04 at 5.30p.m.

Despite opening the scoring the team were very disappointing last week against Luncarty and with some attitude problems deservedly suffered a heavy defeat. There is no game this week and special coaching for Saturday is cancelled.

The team were delighted last Saturday to receive a visit from their sponsor Stuart Cosgrove and fellow broadcaster Tam Cowan at a special training session. Defeated but not disappointed was the verdict following last week’s defeat from the Tangerines. Weather conditions in the second half did not help their cause. In an end-to-end game last Sunday the team defeated Perth Killie by three goals to two. Goals by J Turnbull with a brace and K Bryant secured a good result. There is no fixture this weekend
