For this season 2009/10 the club is operating with 15 football teams amounting to 260 mainly boys and girls. We also operate a Soccer School for players from under 6 years old to under 8’s. Numbers we anticipate to be in the region of just under 100.
The funding required for a club of this size is enormous, running into many thousand of pounds. We are pleased therefore to record that over 60% of the cost to run Letham comes from sponsorship and awards. Without this injection there would not be a club as we know it today. It means a lot to our sponsors, that they are aware that local people recognize the support they have given to us.
It is only natural therefore that we publicize their support to us by press releases, photographs, newsletter, strip advertising, web page links, etc... and to encourage our members, parents, supporters and friends to support their businesses in return. We also record our grateful thanks to all others who have given to our many other initiatives throughout the year, be it raffle prizes or vouchers.
We do have to keep an active pursuit of businesses and would welcome any introduction to a possible new sponsor, large or small, especially if you believe our club's ethos would enhance or complement a company's reputation.
