Score at 90 mins 1-1. Cup 3 on the mantelpiece - Perth & District. Letham took the lead in the first half shooting downhill and missed a few chances to increase the lead. In the second half again missed opportunities and then midway through they had a player sent off for a second bookable offence. They held the lead until 7 minutes from the end.
Extra time and it was thought the 10 men of Letham would not hold out but sheer determination and skill they outperformed Fairfield with 3 goals including a spot kick due to superior fitness. Hopefully their exertions have not taken their toll for the big game on Thursday.
